P2P Board: a free online whiteboard for 1-on-1 tutoring

P2Pboard (P2P Board) is a free online whiteboard for one teacher and one student. You both write on the same board from your own devices, and each stroke appears on the other screen as it is drawn. It was made for Mathematics tutoring, and it works for any lesson that needs handwriting.

How to start a lesson

Open p2pboard.net on both devices. There is nothing to install and no account.
The teacher creates a 4-character code and reads it to the student.
The student types the code, and the two boards connect.

What you can do

Write with a stylus on a tablet, with palm rejection, or draw with a finger or mouse.
Switch on graph paper for functions, geometry and working out.
Add images and PDF pages, such as worksheets, then move, resize and rotate them.
Talk over a built-in voice call, which starts only when both people agree.
Export the finished board to PDF so the student can keep the notes.

Why “P2P”?

P2P means peer-to-peer. The board travels directly between your two devices instead of being stored on our server, and it stays saved in your own browser. A small server only helps the two devices find each other, and a relay passes the encrypted data along when they cannot connect directly. Read the Privacy Policy.
